I thought it was such a wonderful piece of poetry that I just wanted to share it with more people. Marie who wrote this poem is only 11 years old and the poem shows we could have a budding poet!

It was a Saturday, a very beautiful day on the beach. I could see a golden line formed against the cool, crystal blue ocean. I could feel the water against my bare ankles. The waves crashed along the sandy beaches in unison, only to come up and revert back as the water slowly was rising and rising, coming up to my calves. A water bearer in India had two large pots, each hung on each end of a
pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in
it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion
of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master's house,
the cracked pot arrived only half full.
For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only
one and a half pots full of water to his master's house. Of course, the
