- I am a designer who is producing the contemporary clothes by using the old KIMONO
Many KIMONO are put away in the chest of drawers, and it is thrown away . I think that is very regrettable though the KIMONO is a thing to boast of the traditional beauty of Japan.
A "shaku" is the width of material (About 35 centimeters)and the length are 12meter for one roll.
KIMONO has a very rare culture that there is no
uselessness because of being composed of the straight line, and it tries to sew seven times and it dispatches and can be used tothe last minute completely. T
The point of ecology also included the thing, it searched for a modern design, and the style "Square clothes by "KOFU that means old KIMONO" installed square when folding
